Investment Division
Amitim’s Investment Division is responsible for managing our pension assets with a long-term outlook. Our fund management strategy emphasizes broad diversification and rigorous risk management. Amitim’s approach is centered around the goal of ensuring our funds can meet their long-term actuarial obligations and liquidity requirements.
The assets are managed across multiple asset classes, including liquid and alternative (illiquid) investments.
Liquid Investments
Our marketable investments include exposures to equities, government and corporate bonds across local and global financial markets. These exposures are achieved through a combination of direct investments, passive exposures (ETF’s) and actively managed (mutual) funds.
Alternative Investments & Investment Funds
Our investments in alternative assets is done primarily through funds managed by market-leading General Partners locally and globally. Amitim invests in alternative strategies such as Private Equity, Private debt, and Infrastructure. The funds we invest in are broadly diversified across geographies and sectors.
We prioritize specialized funds and best-in-class managers with proven track records and strong execution capabilities which are results of meaningful transformation and value creation.
In addition to investments through funds, Amitim also invests directly in leading companies within stable sectors with strong growth potential.
Real Estate
Our diversified real estate portfolio includes office buildings, retail centers, logistical assets, and residential rental complexes, in Israel and abroad.
We invest in markets with strong economies and sectors demonstrating long-term growth and stable demand. International investments are made alongside experienced partners with deep local market
knowledge and proven performance. Our real-estate portfolio was constructed with the aim of generating stable long-term returns.
Credit
Amitim is a leading player in Israel’s non-bank financing market, particularly for local infrastructure projects. Our credit underwriting operates under the highest standards and is led by a team with extensive experience in banking and capital markets.
We are a significant investor in the Israeli economy, financing the development and operation of national infrastructure projects across sectors such as transportation, power generation, residential and government-related projects. At times this activity may also include equity stakes.
Amitim also specializes in providing credit to large borrowers for a wide range of purposes such as asset-backed financing, residential construction financing, data centers, mortgage portfolios, and other credit products.
